If nothing else, the year 2020 forced us all to learn to adapt to doing normal things differently. While coronavirus has not had a significant negative effect on our business, the same sentiment applies. What was once uncomfortable has not only turned to “normal”, but beneficial in many ways. Here are some positive effects of distance advising while maintaining the core values of our business operations.

Flexibility to maintain regular clients meetings

While we prefer face-to-face interactions, we know that due to location, travel and safety concerns in-person meeting are not always an option. Not the case anymore. Regular client meetings are still one of the best ways for people to make wise financial decisions.  Thankfully, we have been forced to grow accustomed to Zoom meeting due to COVID-19. Let me be clear, we are NOT becoming a “virtual firm” where all business it conducted online and/or your advisor may be a subcontracted employee at a completely different location.

The advising process is still exactly the same

Regardless if we meet in-person or via Zoom, our process is still exactly the same.  We take a team-approach to offer a full package of customized, high-level retirement services and strategies that address your personal needs leading up and through retirement.

We have found that there are 8 WEALTH MANAGEMENT ISSUES that are most important to our clients and their families. Each of these issues is interrelated and, in fact, acts like a balancing scale. If you make an adjustment to one issue, it affects the others. A properly structured financial plan enables you to face any financial planning challenge that may present itself during each stage of your life. Through the financial planning process, we help you assess financial need, develop strategies to pursue goals and strengthen your financial future.*

Whether you live in west-central Minnesota, travel frequently, or don’t feel comfortable meeting in-person and need help with your retirement plan, please, let us know how we can assist.
